Reviews
Your graphics add a nice touch to my presentations and I recently used them for one of my all-hands meetings. Your toolbox adds professionalism to my slides. Instead of using standard clipart.
I needed a fresh look at some of my slides. I've tried to find a way to create a paintbrush effect, to underline, accentuate, add some color and the handwritten markers were just the things. Very easy to use, easy to size, change the color. It was an affordable, perfect solution and I'm happy to recommend it.
The crisp, clean look of the graphics, and the fact that it allowed me to easily edit and change the colors to match the template was my main reason for purchasing them.
Description
Explaining 5 phases of the DMAVD / DFSS (Design for Six Sigma)
Slide Content
The slide outlines the five phases of the Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) methodology, DMAVD: Define, Measure, Analyze, Design, and Verify. The Define phase focuses on establishing design goals aligned with customer demands and business strategy. Measure involves identifying CTQs (Critical To Quality factors), assessing product and process capabilities, and evaluating risks. Analyze is the phase where alternatives are developed and assessed. Design refers to creating an improved alternative based on the analysis. Finally, Verify encompasses testing the design through pilot runs, implementing the production process, and transitioning ownership to the process owner.
Graphical Look
- The slide features a circular flowchart with five colored circular nodes connected by arrows, illustrating the sequence of the DMAVD phases.
- Each phase is represented by an icon within its respective circle, correlating to the phase’s activity (e.g., a target for Define, a magnifying glass for Analyze).
- The colors of the nodes vary (teal for Define, blue for Measure, purple for Analyze, orange for Design, and green for Verify), providing a clear visual distinction between phases.
- In the center, a large grey '6σ' symbol is shown, indicative of the Six Sigma aspect.
- To the right of the circular flowchart, corresponding explanations for each phase are presented in colored text boxes with bullet points, matching the colors of the respective phase circles.
- A bold arrow graphically connects each phase title to its detailed description, ensuring clarity in the flow of information.
The overall look of the slide is professional and visually organized, effectively using color-coded elements and icons to convey the sequence and details of the DMAVD/DFSS process in an engaging manner.
Use Cases
- Presenting the DFSS methodology in training sessions for quality management or process improvement teams.
- Outlining the steps of a project following the DMAVD/DFSS approach in a business strategy meeting or workshop.
- Reviewing the phases of DMAVD/DFSS during a project kickoff to align team members on the process flow.
- Using as a reference for project management to ensure that each phase of the DMAVD/DFSS process is executed properly.
