Reviews
Description
RISK MATRIX – SEVERITY
Slide Content
The slide is titled "RISK MATRIX – SEVERITY" and presents five categories of risk severity from least to most severe: negligible, minor, moderate, critical, and catastrophic. Each category is likely defined based on the impact a risk event would have on an organization or project. Negligible risks pose the least concern, while catastrophic risks are the most serious, potentially causing grave consequences to the entity involved.
Graphical Look
- The slide features a title at the top in a large, bold font.
- There is a funnel-shaped graphic with the wide part up; the funnel is depicted in a light grey with soft shading.
- Inside the funnel, there are five colored rectangular segments aligned horizontally, each representing a different level of risk severity.
- The colors transition from green (negligible) through blues (minor and moderate) to intense orange (critical) and dark red (catastrophic).
- Below the funnel, centered on the slide, is a single icon inside a square teal background—a white flame symbol representing a generic hazard or risk.
The slide has a clean and professional design with a clear color-coded representation of increasing risk levels. The bold colors against the light background create a striking visual contrast that emphasizes the progression of risk severity.
Use Cases
- Presenting risk assessment findings in a business or project management meeting.
- Training employees on risk management and the different levels of risk impact.
- Incorporating into a safety briefing to illustrate the severity of various safety hazards.
- Including in a report or proposal to stakeholders to show potential risks associated with a new venture or project.
