Reviews
Your graphics add a nice touch to my presentations and I recently used them for one of my all-hands meetings. Your toolbox adds professionalism to my slides. Instead of using standard clipart.
I needed a fresh look at some of my slides. I've tried to find a way to create a paintbrush effect, to underline, accentuate, add some color and the handwritten markers were just the things. Very easy to use, easy to size, change the color. It was an affordable, perfect solution and I'm happy to recommend it.
The crisp, clean look of the graphics, and the fact that it allowed me to easily edit and change the colors to match the template was my main reason for purchasing them.
Description
What is Climate Change, Definition and Drivers
Slide Content
The slide outlines the definition and primary drivers behind climate change. Climate change is described as long-term shifts in temperatures and weather patterns which could be natural, like variations in the solar cycle. However, since the 1800s, human activities, primarily the burning of fossil fuels such as coal, oil, and gas, have been identified as the principal catalyst of climate change. Each of these contributing factors—natural cycles and human activities—is crucial to understanding the complex dynamics of Earth's climate system and the anthropogenic impact thereon.
Graphical Look
- The slide background is white with a dark blue column on the left border.
- The title is in large, bold black font at the top of the slide.
- A large red and grey circle on the left side of the slide contains a white icon, representing climate change with a thermometer and the Earth.
- Text is black and red, with some parts in quotation marks. The red text is emphasizing "human activities" as the main driver of climate change.
- There's a small reference at the bottom indicating the source as United Nations, with a link mentioned to be in the comments (text of the source link is not processed).
The slide has a clean and modern look, with strong contrasting colors that draw attention to specific elements. The use of quotation marks and color differentiation highlights the main points effectively.
Use Cases
- To educate an audience about the basics of climate change in an academic or public speaking setting.
- As part of a company's sustainability training to explain the contribution of human activities to climate change.
- In a proposal or meeting with stakeholders to discuss the environmental impact of a project or business.
- During a conference presentation focusing on environmental issues and sustainability efforts.
