Reviews
Description
Scrum Meetings – Backlog Grooming
Slide Content
The PowerPoint slide is designed to inform about two aspects of Scrum Meetings, particularly focusing on Backlog Grooming. The first concept, depicted by a "Big icon," illustrates a person alongside a variety of shapes and sticky notes, which suggests a process of organizing or prioritizing tasks. The "Thumbnail icon," shows a fast-forward symbol with a document, implying a more concise or summarized representation of the process, activities, or quick access to documentation.
Graphical Look
- A large rectangular board with hand-drawn style symbols representing tasks, a person, and circular objects.
- Two icons below the imagery: "Big icon" and "Thumbnail icon" labels are placed on grey rectangular shapes.
- The "Big icon" exhibits a more complex scene with multiple elements, indicating a detailed view or process.
- The "Thumbnail icon" consists of a circular arrow around a lined document; its simplicity suggests a quick reference or snapshot.
- The visual elements are colored with shades of green, grey, and black, providing a sketch-like aesthetic.
The slide has a clean and minimalistic look with hand-drawn elements that give it an informal, approachable feel. The use of simple iconography aids in conveying the concepts at a glance.
Use Cases
- Introducing the concept of backlog grooming to new team members in a Scrum-oriented workflow.
- Refresher for existing team members on the significance and methodology of backlog grooming.
- Part of a training or educational presentation on various Scrum ceremonies and their purposes.
- As a visual aid during a Scrum meeting to discuss the current state of the backlog and plan for organizing it.
